Dr. Prafull is now driving the inventions that contribute to Organica’s Intellectual property.
Prafull is heading the Research and Development unit and leads a team of scientists, researchers, and biotechnologists, and drives research and innovation in microbiological application areas like Agriculture, Aquaculture, Wastewater treatment, Bioremediation, and Sanitation to address environmental issues and finds technological solutions to the problems.
He collaborates with Universities, Research Institutes, and Government bodies on research projects and product approvals. Having a doctorate degree in Biotechnology, he holds several patents and scientific publications in the field of Natural Products, Drug Discovery, and Microbial product development.
He is the recipient of special awards, one from the International Coenzyme Q10 Association in Europe for his contribution to Coenzyme Q10 biosynthesis and metabolic engineering research work, and the other one is the ‘Distinguished Industrial Microbiologist Award’ from the ‘Microbiologists Society,’ India.
He always feels that Science is an art!
Therefore, outside the professional world, he likes to pen down lyrics and compose musical tunes, and he brings back the same passion and creativity to the workplace to invent and innovate for the cause of environmental sustainability.
